We clean windows the traditional way: strip washer, squeegee, biodegradable solution mixed with water. For interiors, we lay drop cloths under every window — nothing lands on your carpet or furniture. Exteriors get accessed with padded standoff ladders to protect your siding. We wipe all edges, clean sills and frames, and remove screens for a full wash if needed.
the area's rain leaves mineral deposits and algae on glass. The moisture doesn't just bead off — it sits there, evaporates, and leaves a film. Over time, windows lose clarity and light transmission drops. Most customers across King County schedule quarterly or twice a year to stay ahead of buildup. Commercial clients — storefronts, office buildings up to three stories — often go monthly or weekly depending on foot traffic and location.
“the area's rain leaves mineral deposits and algae on glass — most customers schedule quarterly or twice a year to stay ahead of buildup.”
Skylight cleaning is the same process, just requires extension poles or roof access. If you've got a lot of windows on multiple stories, expect 3-5 hours for a full clean inside and out. Single-story homes with standard window counts usually run 2-3 hours. We can work while you're away — just leave access instructions and we'll send before-and-after photos when we're done.
For commercial properties, we schedule around your needs. Storefronts with high visibility want weekly service. Office buildings usually go monthly. We can work after hours or on weekends to avoid disrupting tenants or customers. We're licensed, insured, and carry proof of insurance for property managers who require it before we start.
We also handle storm windows and screens. Screens get pulled, washed with soap and water, and reinstalled. Storm windows get cleaned on both sides if they're removable. If your windows haven't been cleaned in years, expect the first service to take longer — we're removing years of buildup, not just the last few months of rain.
